Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

10:30 AM – Arrival at Tarangire National Park
- Landscape: Tarangire is renowned for its dramatic baobab trees, vast savannahs, and the Tarangire River that attracts wildlife. The park’s terrain is a mix of acacia woodland, open grasslands, and swampy areas.
11:00 AM – Game Drive
- Wildlife: Look out for large herds of elephants, giraffes, zebras, and impalas. The park is also known for its rich birdlife including the striking Kori bustard and various raptors.
- Expectations: An exciting introduction to Tanzanian wildlife in a park famous for its high concentration of elephants.
12:30 PM – Picnic Lunch
- Location: At a designated picnic site with views of the park.

Day 2: Tarangire to Serengeti National Park
07:00 AM – Breakfast
- Activity: Hearty breakfast at the lodge to prepare for the day’s travel.
08:00 AM – Departure for Serengeti
- Travel: A 4-hour drive passing through the Great Rift Valley with stunning views of the escarpment and patchwork of farmland.
12:00 PM – Picnic Lunch
- Location: Along the route or near the park entrance.
01:00 PM – Arrival and Check-in at Serengeti
- Landscape: Serengeti’s endless plains are a dramatic contrast to Tarangire, with wide-open savannahs dotted with acacia trees.
02:30 PM – Afternoon Game Drive
- Wildlife: Explore the vast plains, searching for the Big Five (lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant, and rhino) and large herds of wildebeest and zebra, especially if you’re visiting during the migration season.
06:00 PM – Return to Lodge/Camp
- Activity: Relax and freshen up before dinner.

Day 3: Serengeti National Park

- Landscape: Spectacular views of the crater floor from the rim. The lodge is perched on the rim offering breathtaking panoramas.

01:30 PM – Descend into Ngorongoro Crater
- Landscape: The crater floor is a diverse landscape of grasslands, swamps, and woodlands, teeming with wildlife.
02:00 PM – Afternoon Game Drive

05:30 PM – Return to Lodge/Camp

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

- Wildlife: Maximize your chances of spotting remaining wildlife or enjoying additional views of the crater’s diverse habitats.

- Activity: Check out and prepare for departure.
10:30 AM – Depart for Arusha
- Travel: A 3-hour drive back to Arusha, passing through scenic highlands and rural landscapes.
01:30 PM – Arrive in Arusha
- Activity: Transfer to Fifi’s Cafe & Restaurant.
02:00 PM – Late Lunch at Fifi’s Cafe & Restaurant
- Cuisine: Savor Tanzanian specialties such as nyama choma (grilled meat), pilau rice, and ugali, along with fresh local vegetables and fruits.
03:30 PM – Relax and Explore
- Activity: Enjoy your meal and, if time allows, explore Arusha’s local markets or shops including the famous Maasai Market, Central Market or Cultural Heritage.
05:00 PM – Optional Additional Exploration
- Activity: Continue exploring Arusha or proceed to the airport for departure.
